Simply stuinning with Lisa N. and the blush kit!

Good morning!

The Scraps of Darkness 'Blush' kit is full of gorgeous Prima and Kaisercraft papers and Lisa N. showcases these beautifully

She created a layout with these beautiful papers found in the paper add on....a combination of the Prima Rossibelle and Kaisercraft Treasured Moments.  She used lots of layering and fussy cutting techniques.

She used the beautiful Blue Fern Studios Treasured Floral Frame from the elements add on. The frame was was first brushed with Prima's Rosewood Artisan Powder and then embossed Blue Fern Studios Gold Embossing Powder. Both are found in the Color Add On.

She layered a ton of florals and used some stamping and masking in the background.

Mixed Media Monday - 9.19.16

Good morning!
There are so many opportunities to create amazing works of art that use mixed media!

Tags are a great way to do some mixed media work and have some fun!  Denisa created two wonderfully awesome tags using the Scraps Of Darkness 'Safari' kit...the kit is pretty versatile. Although the paper patterns evoke nature, wilderness and exotic plants, Denisa made it her way into a neutral tone. She grabbed the amazing Graphic45 Natural Habitat paper and Docrafts Papermania Basic Canvas Tags plus some left over goodies from previous kits and did this trio.

The Beach Life

Good morning...

There is nothing like the feel of sand between your toes....

Nicole and Lisa capture that feeling with two gorgeous layouts using the Scraps Of Elegance 'By The Sea' kit

Whenever Nicole works with stickers, she often layers the back with cardstock so that she can pop them up with 3D foam squares for added dimension, as she did here.

She used a mixture of embossing powders and glitter, some from the kit, some from her stash, on these awesome Blue Fern Studios chipboard pieces.

Lisa's turn to take a dip.....

Lisa said that there is nothing is prettier than using real sea shells in a beachy layout. The
larger ones came with the kit and the tiny ones from her stash, that she attached using some clear gel medium.

Lisa wanted to really emphasize the blues and purples in this paper and also in my photograph so she applied a thick uneven coat of heavy white gesso to the background and then used her watercolors to add some pops of color.
