Friday Inspiration

Good morning!

Today I want to share some inspiration for you for your weekend scrapping!

First layout is one of mine using the October Scraps Of Darkness kit 'Dance Macabre'

Last year was Ty's last year of trick or treating....he is getting too old now so I will have lots of fun scrapbooking these memories!

This is Ty (the Killer Clown) and his best friend Sam (Einstein) last year.

I used the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities papers and did some water distressing.  I also used a stencil and some molding paste, sprayed with the three mists from the color add on and main kit - Jazzy Jivin Purple, Go Greased Lightnin', and Sidewalk Chalk
the flowers are from the floral add on that I splattered with the three mists! I added one of the G45 chipboard pieces for their names & date
I used a title piece from last years Halloween kit that I splattered with the Sidewalk Chalk mist.
I had a lot of fun with the Blue Fern Studios Chipboard Ironwork Edge from the Elements add on
I inked it first with Tim Holtz forest moss distress ink from a previous kit, then I used my embossing pad randomly in spots and added the Olive Stampendous Vintage Embossing Tinsel from the color add on and heat set it.  I then used the embossing pad randomly again and used the Aged Black Stampendous Embossing Enamel.  I think it looks cool!
The stamp is too cute!  The 'little frog' is from the main kit and I used the embossing tinsel on it!
Next is this simply stunning shabby chic creation from Renea using the September Scraps Of Elegance kit
She layered kit paper, randomly punching, distressing, and inking the top layer.
She then created an under layer by cutting down some of the kit paper and then cutting and curling the edges, for dimension.

Here she used a layer of corrugated board some that she tore, inked heavily with Tim Holtz Distress Ink , and then edged it with Dark Purple Chunky Glitter Glass mixed with Glass Microbeads , as a matte for the photo.

She created floral layers around the photo using, past kit flowers, flowers from the Kit,

Roses, and in this one she tucked in one of the sweet Melissa Frances Frames, and some of the Prima twine from the Kit.

She created a rolled back peek a boo and added some Blue Fern Chipboard Bricks from a past kit that she painted with Gesso, then painted the brick with Texture Paste and then coated it with Chunky Glitter Glass

At the top of the peek a boo, she added a hand dyed seam binding bow that was created by misting seam binding, and then topped it with one of the G45 Metal Locks from the September Elements Add On

The misting was done using the Rebecca Baer Stencil - Moroccan Tile from the September Elements Add On and the Seedless Preserves Spray Stain. Melinda has quite a few of these really unique Rebecca Baer Stencils that you can find here:

Thanks for stopping in!
