Weekend Inspiration!

Good morning!

To inspire your weekend scrapping we have a gorgeous mood board this month created by Nicole!

Inspiration Board Challenge: June 2016

The rules:
1. The challenge starts today and ends July 2nd at midnight.
2. Create a layout, canvas, art journal page, or altered item, taking inspiration from this month's Inspiration Board: You can choose inspiration from just one of the images, or several of them. This inspiration can be the quote, the colors, the overall feel of the board, something in one of the pictures on the board - your imagination is the only restriction you have on this!
3. Upload your project into this album (please don't do it as a comment on the post, we choose a winner from the entries that are in the album) , and tell us in the description what you used from the board as your inspiration.
4. For a double entry - post your project on your blog along with the photo of the board and a link to this challenge, and then add the link of your blog post to the description of your photo when you upload here.
5. That's it!
A winner will be chosen on or about July 9th, and will receive an exclusive coupon code for $25.00 in our store (may be used towards anything you like in the store). **Please note the credit is for use in our store, and cannot be applied to existing kit subscriptions.

Just to inspire you a little bit more is this gorgeous layout from Kathy using the Scraps Of Darkness 'Soulshine' kit and a wonderful photo of her mom and dad!

She distressed the background Blue Fern Studio "Tranquility" paper included in the Main Kit then lightly sprayed some Lindy's Stamp Gang ink mist in aqua to give it a watercolor feel.

She used the Prima Euphemia in layers

She used several different papers from the Coordinating Paper Add On and others from her stash for the photo layers.  On one of the pieces of paper she glued some cotton lace which came in a previous SOD kit.

Next I cut the beautiful chipboard from Blue Fern Studios in the Elements Add On.  I heat embossed the pieces with embossing power included in this month's Scraps of Elegance kit.  She tucked in some lace from her stash and placed it along the bottom of the photo layers.

She glued down the lovely Prima "Salvage Distrist" spray across the bottom and placed several little aqua roses.  Both flower pieces came in the Floral Add On.  She also tucked in some butterflies and pieces of ribbon.
